Guide to Australian Literary Manuscripts six Australian libraries, led by the University of Western Australia, have collaborated to build a national database of finding aids - electronic guides - to 86 collections of Australian literary manuscripts.

RAAM: Register of Australian Archives and Manuscripts online searchable guide to collections of personal papers and non-governmental organisational records held by Australian libraries and archives. There are index entries to more than 600 Australian authors.

Canadian Poetry Archive a digitised collection of English and French Canadian poetry dating from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Biographies of some of the major poetry (including photographs and bibliographies) are also provided.

CETH: centre for electronic texts in the humanities. Searchable full text images of a number of journals including The Spectator, Female Spectator, Tatler, and Rambler, the plays of Steele, Bailey's dictionary and others.

Eighteenth century collections online a comprehensive digital edition of The Eighteenth Century microfilm set, which has aimed to include every significant English-language and foreign-language title printed in the United Kingdom, along with thousands of important works from the Americas, between 1701 and 1800. Includes books, pamphlets, broadsides and ephemera. The online collection is divided into seven subject areas: history and geography; fine arts and social sciences; medicine, science and technology; literature and language; religion and philosophy; law; and, general reference.

EEBO: Early English Books Online over 125,000 titles listed in Pollard & Redgrave's Short-Title Catalogue (1475-1640), Wing's Short-Title Catalogue (1641-1700), and the Thomason Tracts (1640-1661), in full text.

Internet library of early journals digitised runs of at least 20 consecutive years of three 18th century journals - Annual Register, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society and Gentleman's Magazine, and three 19th century journals -Blackwood's Edinburgh Magazine, The Builder and Notes and Queries.

New York times: archive includes full page images and article images from the New York Daily Times (1851 to 1857) and the New York Times from its first issue in 1857 to two years before the current date. The collection includes digital reproductions of every page from every issue, cover to cover, in downloadable PDF files.

Project Gutenberg fine literature digitally republished in full text. Titles range from Chaucer and Shakespeare, through Dante, Poe, Lewis Carroll, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and thousands of others.

Shakespeare in Quarto on this site you will find the British Library's 93 copies of the 21 plays by Shakespeare printed in quarto before the theatres were closed in 1642. Site allows viewing and comparison of the different versions in their original form.

Times Digital Archive, 1785-1985, library database, includes full page images and articles from The Times (London, England) and its predecessor, the Daily Universal Register, from its first issue in 1785 to the end of December 1985. The archive also includes digital reproductions in downloadable PDF files. Keyword searching and hit-term highlighting can be used to retrieve full facsimile images of either a specific article or a complete page. The entire newspaper is captured, with all articles, advertisements and illustrations / photos divided into categories to facilitate searching.
