Working papers for Accounting, Banking and Finance

Caulfield, Matheson (Clayton) and Gippsland libraries have selective collections of working papers. To find what titles are available search in the library catalogue using Basic search. Use the search "working paper?" and combine it with other terms such as "economics," eg (working paper? economics) or "accounting", etc (the "?" is a truncation symbol to pick up any variant of the root word). You can also search by the names of organisations for example, (working paper? World Bank). Alternatively, search by author / title if this information is known.

Bank of England (central bank of the UK) abstracts and full text papers in PDF format.

Bank for International Settlements (BIS) many of the documents are available in full text.

European Central Bank (ECB) click on the "publications" link on the homepage. The working papers are in full text from 1999 to the current year.

The European Investment Bank's (EIB) Economic and Financial Reports and EIB Papers

The Federal Reserve Board (US central bank) provides abstracts and full text documents from 1996. To search the FRB database of economic research publications, go to Fed in Print

Australian Prudential Regulation Authority papers from 1998 to the current year.

The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) the research discussion papers are searchable. Listings from 1969 to the current year, the more recent publications are in full text.

New York University (US) Leonard N Stern School of Business, Department of Finance papers from 1994 to the latest year.

University of Birmingham, Birmingham Business School (UK).

University of Chicago (US), Graduate School of Business. Center for Research in Security Prices selective full text documents from 1997 to the current year.

University of Pennsylvania, (US) Wharton School. Financial Institutions Center full text from 1994, also available at the same site are conference proceedings.
