Library users survey 2007

Survey method

The survey required all respondents to provide some demographic information. They were asked to consider 39 statements (eg. Access to electronic resources is easily available). They then rated each statement twice - first to measure the importance of each statement to them, and second to measure their impression of the Library's performance on each statement.

Library clients were given the opportunity to participate in the survey by completing the questionnaire anonymously. The survey was completed online. The survey period was 2 - 16 May 2007. This is the fourth survey of its kind to be undertaken by Monash University Library. The previous surveys were carried out in 2000 , 2003, 2005.

As well as comparing with previous Monash University Library survey results, the results are also compared to results of 38 other participating university libraries in Australia and New Zealand.
