Summary

Library users survey 2007

Outcomes

The library uses survey results to prioritise what issues it will focus on in the coming years. By looking at where a statement was rated as high in importance, but the library's performance was rated low, we can see where you think we most need to improve. Anything with a 'gap' greater than 2 is statistically significant.

Results showed no gap scores of greater that 2, which is a positive result. However, there is one potential improvement opportunity because the variable has a gap score just below 2: Access to computers to support study/research is adequate (1.94).

The top ten gaps are listed in the menu on the left and addressed individually, including your comments and how the library is responding.

Seven areas are common to 2007 and 2005. All but one area showed a decrease in the gap between importance and performance, namely, computer access, electronic resources, library collection, opening hours, photocopying and printing facilities, and library catalogue. Individual seating showed an increase in the gap.
