Library users survey 2007

Gaps 2007 / 2005

Significant improvements (i.e. a lessening of the gap between perceived performance and importance by -0.2 or more) are in bold.

Photocopying and printing facilities showed significant improvement while group study facilities improved slightly. However, the adequacy of individual seating and access to computers remain a concern. Four new statements added to the 2007 survey will be tracked. These relate to facilities for quiet study, using personal laptops and wireless access.

None of the statements had significant increases in the gap score from 2005 indicating areas of concern (ie an increase in the gap by 0.2 or more). However, one issue with an increase of 0.19 could be addressed before it becomes significant:The Library keeps me informed about new services, resources and collections.
