“Electronic resources could do with much simpler accessibility”

“Monash's extensive subscriptions to online top-tier journals are incredibly important to my studies. Having studied at several universities and government organisations, Monash is by far the leader in this area.”

  • We are strongly committed to providing access to electronic resources
More than 40% of the Library’s collection budget is currently spent on electronic resources. We now have subscriptions to over 750 online databases, approximately 34,000 e-journals and over 240,000 e-books. These figures will continue to grow.

“There is now a very large and diverse electronic collection available that can be difficult to navigate. This necessitates simple and clear access pathways for users. New and exciting ways for users to access these materials have been identified through the Library’s Resource Discovery project and will be implemented in stages.”
