Readings and Reserve Service

By combining the expertise of library loans, reserve, acquisitions and digitisation staff the library offers a consistent cross campus service providing students with easy, direct access to items on course or unit reading lists.

The library liaises with teaching staff to

• create a web page containing course or reading lists that tells students how to access the items, either linking them directly to the electronic item, or directing them to the reserve or main library collection.
• organise digitisation or purchasing of items on the reading list
• ensure high use items on the reading list are available in the reserve collection or are available online.
• provide a single web address to link to the WebCT or course site.
