KEY AREA 2: Enhancing support from the library

2.1 Faculty teams and contact librarians

Library faculty teams work with faculty members to build research collections, develop information literacy programs, establish current awareness activities and undertake EndNote training for research groups.

Objective 2.1: To focus faculty teams and contact librarian activities on the specific needs of researchers, including research graduate students.

2.2 Information literacy (access, assess and integrate information)

The Library supports a continuum of information literacy development from undergraduates to research-level independent learning. Contact librarians work with teaching staff to embed this development into courses where possible. This plan focuses on research staff and students. Objective 2.2: To ensure that research staff and students are aware of resources and services and are able to access, assess and integrate information effectively.
