Gippsland Library print journal collection weeding |
||
Monash University Library recently received funding from the University's Learning Spaces Taskforce to develop a Flexible Learning Space on the upper floor of the Gippsland Library. This area currently houses some of the Gippsland Library print journal collection. This material is currently being reviewed for relocation with the journals located on the lower floor of the library, for weeding of duplicates, or for relocation to another branch or the off site store. The review involves identifying journals with closed subscriptions and low use. It is important to note that a copy of each of these journal titles will be retained. Items held in storage can be retrieved as required. With the continued growth of the Library’s electronic resources, Monash staff and students have access to nearly 75,000 electronic journals via electronic journals. If you have any questions, please contact Xandria Hughes and Debbie Leatham, acting library managers, or your contact librarian. 9 July 2008 current news : 2007 : 2006 : 2005 : 2004 : 2003 : 2002 : pre-2002 Need help?
