| The Library offers classes and workshops beginning in week 1 and running throughout Semester 2 to support your studies and improve your skills development. Librarians and learning skills advisers have designed programs to develop your information and learning skills within the academic environment and your disciplinary context. If you are new or returning at the undergraduate or postgraduate level, there are sessions on using the library catalogue, effective assignment research, using databases, citing and referencing, and other information skills classes. There are also learning skills classes on study, reading and exam preparation; listening and note-taking in lectures and seminars; oral communication and presentation; analysis, problem-solving and critical thinking; and academic essay, report and thesis writing. Over 200 library classes are scheduled to be held at libraries across the six Monash campuses. Book in to a class that suits you. 16 July 2008 current news : 2007 : 2006 : 2005 : 2004 : 2003 : 2002 : pre-2002 Need help? Library frequently asked questions and online
