More options and benefits for alumni library members |
||
|
The Library has introduced recent changes to library memberships as part of its commitment to improve services for Monash alumni throughout the world. Beginning this year, alumni members can enjoy more flexibility and affordability. A new electronic-only membership is available for A$55 or A$50 (no GST) for alumni overseas, a 50% price reduction on the previous fee. This type of membership is ideal for those residing interstate or overseas who are unable to use the Library’s print resources. Those with borrowing rights can now borrow up to 20 items, access restricted loan and Reserve items, and access items held in the off-site store. A new database has also been included in the available range of databases for alumni members with electronic access. Project Muse provides full-text online access to journals published by the Johns Hopkins University Press and some other university presses in the disciplines of arts, humanities and social sciences. For further information about library services for alumni, visit the Library website or contact External Client Services on +61 3 9905 9145 or ecs@lib.monash.edu.au. 28 July 2008 current news : 2007 : 2006 : 2005 : 2004 : 2003 : 2002 : pre-2002 Need help?
