A new library service enabling you to quickly access information via SMS about items ready for pickup and loans due for return, is now available.

This free and convenient library service will deliver SMS alerts directly to your mobile phone, telling you when items you are waiting for are available for pickup and reminding you of overdue loans and fines.

SMS messages will be sent five days before an item is due or one day after an item is available for pickup.

Information relating to each SMS will continue to be emailed to your Monash University email address which can be accessed through the my.monash portal.

These emails ensure that, if for any reason you do not receive an SMS about a certain item, or you delete an SMS by mistake, you can always log in to your email for duplicate information.

Registering for this service is easy and totally online.
