| The Monash University Library Annual Report 2005 is now online. The report tracks the year’s achievements in relation to the library’s strategic plan, and highlights developments ranging from the growth of electronic resources to building refurbishments.
Some key developments reported include:
- Library visits for the year totalled over 3.3 million.
- The refurbishment of the Hargrave-Andrew Library was completed.
- Major enhancements were made to the library’s website and catalogue resulting in improved usability.
- Four new ePress titles were published and breakthroughs were made in the scholarly publishing model.
- The ARROW project made critical advances in its development of an institutional repository for the storing of digital material.
- The Rodski user survey conducted showed that user satisfaction with the library has improved since 2003.
- Continued efforts in partnership with teaching staff resulted in increased integration of information literacy programs into faculty courses.
