 Historic legal and political documents online for first time
A major new database, The Making of Modern Law, provides access to facsimile images of documents from the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, and will be of interest to researchers in politics and history as well as law.

'Struggle Country: The Rural Ideal in Twentieth Century Australia', a new book examining Australia's rural history and how the dream of country living diverged from the reality, was published by Monash University ePress on 17 October 2005.

Berwick Library to undergo transformation
