"Safari" I.T. books now online

Seventy-eight popular I.T./computer science e-books are now available to Monash library users.

"We have obtained these books online because the hard copies are so popular with students and having them online means more access for more people," said collection management librarian, Robert Stafford.

"When we talked to other university libraries who purchased the titles in the online format they told us that use was well in excess of their expectations."

The collection includes the latest titles from leading publishers in the I.T. area including Prentice Hall, Sam's Publishing, Cisco, O'Reilly and Addison Wesley.
