Legislation

India Code Information System (INCODIS)
This database consists of all the Central Acts of Parliament from 1834 onwards. This includes all the Sections, Schedules, Short Title, Enactment Date and Footnotes. Statement of Objects and Reasons (S.O.R.), Table of Contents (TOC) and the Status of an Act can also be viewed. To retrieve an Act, the user should know one or more of the following: 1. Act Year, 2. Act Number, 3. Section Number, 4. Schedule Number, 5. Word or a combination of Words appearing anywhere in the text of the Act. Also available is a search facility for Parliamentary Bills and the text of Legislative Bills.

All India Reporter Supreme Court Weekly Online
The AIR-SCW is available in full text from January 2000 through the most recent decisions. The site requires registration, but at the present time is free. Browse by issue or search by Citations, Case from, Parties, Judgment date, Case reference, Appeal No., Judge's name and Head note.

JUDIS - the Judgment Information System
JUDIS provides access to the full-text of the Supreme Court of India judgments from 1950 to present, searchable by Case Number, Act, Judge, Headnotes and Text/Phrase. Full-text judgments are also available for the Delhi High Court, Bombay High Court, Madras High Court, A.P. High Court, J & K High Court and Orissa High Court. The site is best viewed with IE4 and above.
