As noted above, Raymond Postgate was a founding
member of the Communist Party of Great Britain. In addition, he was, like Fyfe,
a Daily Herald journalist. He also contributed articles to the journal
Plebs, published by the Plebs League, a workers' educational
association. The value of his account is that it draws information from workers
involved in the strike around the country.
