Library at a glance
Services
Support for learning
Encouraging lifelong learning is one of the library's highest priorities.
The skills and competencies required to successfully access and use information
are invaluable life skills. We provide workshops
and classes, online tutorials and help
in person, by phone, email or live online.
Support for teaching
The library supports teaching activities by working with faculty to ensure student access to teaching
materials. This is achieved by creation of a web page for teaching staff's
reading lists, linking to resources, digitisation
of materials or lectures
for web access and purchasing materials for inclusion in the collection
on advice from teaching staff.
Support for research
The library supports research activities by providing access to research materials through generous borrowing
conditions for staff and post-graduate students, expert staff guidance
to the best resources in their area of interest and provision of materials
from other libraries and collections through the document delivery service.
Modern facilities and equipment
Every branch is equipped with computer workstations, photocopying and
printing facilities and group and private study areas to facilitate access
to, and use of, the collection. To find out more, go to the web page of
the branch you wish to visit.
